At least one injured in pedestrian accident on Airtex Dr in N Houston

HOUSTON, TX – At least one person was injured after being hit by a car in north Houston yesterday evening, according to a tweet published by the Harris County Constable’s Office.

The accident happened in the 500 block of E Airtex Drive, near the North Freeway, and was reported by HCCO at 5:51 p.m.

A pedestrian who has yet to be publicly identified was hit by a vehicle and sustained undisclosed injuries.

While the circumstances of the accident were not made available, authorities warned of a heavy police presence in the area, implying traffic delays.

The accident remains under investigation at this time.
