HOUSTON, TX – At least one person was killed in an accident in West Houston on Monday afternoon, according to the Houston Police Department.
HPD Vehicular Crimes officers are investigating a fatal crash in the 1100 block of Dairy Ashford.

The crash occurred in the 1100 block of Dairy Ashford Road, near the Spring Branch ISD Athletics Complex, at about 2:35 p.m.
The driver of a maroon SUV collided with a pole, leading to the death of at least one person.
Authorities did not immediately release the identity of the victim or victims.
The accident remains under investigation.
