HOUSTON, TX – One person is dead after a U-Haul truck collided with a pillar in north Houston late Sunday night, according to KHOU.
The collision occurred on I-45 N, near Fallbrook, just before 11:59 p.m., as the 30-year-old driver of a U-Haul van was attempting to go around another vehicle. In the process, the driver lost control of his vehicle, causing it to roll over multiple times before colliding with a concrete pillar.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other people were hurt in the crash.
The accident remains under investigation.
