Narrative
HOUSTON, TX – Police have reported a fatality in connection to a head-on crash that happened Thursday in northwest Houston.
Emergency teams responded to the 15300 block of Clay Road around 3:50 p.m. This is near the intersection with War Memorial Street.
Authorities say that a driver lost control for unknown reasons, travelled over the median on Clay Road, and collided head-on with another vehicle. It’s likely that one of the vehicles then caught fire.
Police haven’t yet shared any specifics about the victims. They say that an air ambulance reported to the scene and that at least one person died.
A full investigation is underway.
