HOUSTON, TX – One person died Saturday when a vehicle collided with an 18-wheeler along the highway in north-central Houston.
The accident happened in the morning near the intersection of North Highway and East Burress Street, which is in the Northside area.
Police say that the driver of a Range Rover neglected to slow for stopped traffic and crashed into the rear of a semi-truck.
One person from the Range Rover died. Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity.
Medics transported a passenger from the Range Rover to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
