Narrative
HOUSTON, TX – A 51-year-old man died Monday after a vehicle struck him along the freeway in north-central Houston.
The accident happened around 11:30 p.m. in the area of 11300 North Freeway, which is just south of Greenspoint Mall.
Police say that a southbound white Dodge Ram struck and killed a pedestrian as he was walking along the freeway.
Authorities have not yet disclosed the name of the victim.
The driver of the pickup truck stopped to render aid and speak with police.
A full investigation is underway.
