Narrative
HOUSTON, TX – A Friday morning crash with entrapment at a busy intersection in west Houston resulted in road closures while crews responded to the scene.
The incident happened around 6:40 a.m. on the eastbound side of Westheimer Road at Elmside Drive, which is between the Sam Houston Tollway and South Gessner Road.
Police haven’t shared many details regarding the accident. They say it involved three vehicles and that one person required extrication.
Officials closed all eastbound lanes of Westheimer in the vicinity of the crash.
