HPD officer injured after collision with Jeep

HOUSTON, TX – A collision involving a Houston police vehicle luckily resulted in only minor injuries this weekend, according to the Houston Chronicle.

The accident happened near the intersection of Pierce and Hamilton on Sunday, when the driver of a Jeep struck a Houston police patrol vehicle.

The officer sustained minor injuries in the collision, while the other driver was not reported as hurt.

The identities of the drivers have not yet been released.

The accident remains under investigation at this time.
