Magnolia man killed when Shelby kit car crashes into tree

MAGNOLIA, TX – A man from Magnolia was killed after a Shelby kit car collided with a tree in Montgomery County earlier this week.

According to the Montgomery County Police Reporter, the accident occurred in Magnolia on Honea Egypt Road at about 12:40 a.m. Monday morning.

69-year-old Magnolia man Warren Edgar was operating a 2004 Roadster Shelby kit car when he collided with a tree on the northbound side of the road.

Edgar died at the scene.

No other injuries were reported in the crash, which remains under investigation at this time.
