HOUSTON, TX – A pedestrian attempting to cross the road was fatally struck by a hit-and-run driver on the North Freeway on Friday, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
On April 30, 2021, David Richardson was involved in a crash in the 14100 block of the North Freeway. The victim attempted to cross the service road when he was fatally struck by a blue 2009-2014 Nissan Maxima that fled the scene. The crash happened in the 14100 block of the North Freeway, when victim David Richardson was attempting to walk across the service road.
He was struck by the driver of a blue 2009-2014 Nissan Maxima who then fled the scene without stopping to render aid.
Richardson died as a result.
Authorities are searching for the driver and vehicle, and those with any information on the crash are asked to call 713-274-7400.
