HOUSTON, TX – A man was fatally hit by a car after being chased into the street in downtown Houston this weekend, according to KPRC2.
The accident occurred near the Gulf Freeway and Jefferson Street at about 3:30 p.m. Sunday after the male victim was chased onto Jefferson and then was struck by a vehicle.
The victim died of injuries sustained in the crash.
The pursuer reportedly stole a bag from the victim’s body, then fled the scene on foot.
Authorities have not yet released a description of or the identity of either of the men.
No other injuries were reported in the crash.
