Man facing charges after fleeing fiery rollover crash that killed one person in E Houston

HOUSTON, TX – A man is facing charges after allegedly fleeing a fiery, fatal accident in Houston yesterday morning that caused a car to collide with a building.

According to KHOU, the accident happened in east Houston, in the 700 block of Fidelity Street, at about 9:30 a.m., as 19-year-old Herbert Talley was reportedly speeding.

Talley, operating an Infiniti sedan, collided with the driver of a Kia. The Kia rolled over, before colliding with a building nearby, then catching fire.

The driver of the Kia, whose identity has yet to be released, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Talley fled the scene of the crash, but was later discovered nearby by investigators. He was taken to the hospital, and has since been charged with failure to stop and render aid.
