Man killed by 2 drivers in W Houston hit-and-run pedestrian accident

HOUSTON, TX – A man died in west Houston early this morning after he was hit by two separate drivers who then fled the scene, according to the Laredo Morning Times.

The accident happened on Texas 6 near George Bush Park at about 3 a.m. when a man, who has not been identified at this time, was crossing the street. He was struck by two separate vehicles, then died at the scene.

Police intend on pressing hit-and-run charges and are reviewing area video footage in hopes of catching the two suspects.

One of the suspects is thought to drive a Toyota Highlander, and the other suspect, a sedan.

Houston Police Sergeant David Rose suggested that late at night, drivers may be intoxicated, leading to pedestrian accidents.
