Man killed, woman injured after pickup flips over on Tomball Pkwy exit

HOUSTON, TX – A 29-year-old man was killed, and a woman was hurt during a rollover crash on the Tomball Parkway this weekend, according to KHOU.

The accident happened on the ramp from the Tomball Parkway (Hwy 249) to Grant Road, just before 11:59 p.m. Sunday, when the driver of a pickup truck did not maintain a single lane.

The pickup crashed into the barrier on the right side of the ramp, then overturned.

The 29-year-old man operating the truck and a female passenger were trapped within the wreckage.

The driver died at the scene.

The woman was extricated by emergency crews, then taken to the hospital with minor wounds.

Authorities closed the exit ramp for a few hours following the crash.
