Man riding bicycle fatally struck by train in Humble

HUMBLE, TX – A bicyclist was killed after he was struck by a train in Humble yesterday morning, according to ABC 13 Houston.

The collision occurred near the intersection of Aldine Bender Road and Old Humble Road at about 8:30 a.m., as a man was riding his bike near the tracks.

According to authorities, the train conductor likely didn’t know that a person had been struck.

The identity of the victim has not yet been released.

No further injuries were reported.

Authorities from the Harris County and Montgomery County Sheriff’s Offices are investigating the accident at this time.
