SPRING, TX – A motorcyclist collided with a truck in the Spring area early Sunday morning, then fled the scene of the crash, according to a tweet published by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash happened near the intersection of Parramatta Lane and the I-45 feeder road and was reported by HCSO just after 1 a.m.
While details on the crash are scarce, authorities reported that the operator of the motorcycle fled the scene on foot after colliding with a truck. Photos of the scene of the crash from HCSO show a downed yellow motorcycle with a missing wheel, which was shown lying on the ground nearby.
HCSO officials are asking those with any information about the accident to contact the vehicular crimes division.
The accident remains under investigation at this time.
