Motorcyclist killed after sliding beneath pickup truck and trailer in Spring

SPRING, TX – A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a pickup truck that was hauling a trailer in Spring this weekend, according to the Montgomery County Police Reporter.

The accident occurred on the northbound I-45 service road, near Cathedral Lakes Parkway, at 12:35 p.m. Saturday.

A motorcyclist operating a 2020 Harley-Davidson motorcycle was operating the bike at a high rate of speed when he attempted to make a stop.

The operator, 31-year-old Kingwood man Alger Alberto Falcon Medellin, laid the motorcycle onto the road, causing him to slide beneath a Ford pickup truck that was hauling a trailer for automotive transportation.

Medellin, who was not wearing a helmet at the time, died at the scene.

The driver of the pickup, 47-year-old Houston woman Yoiler Sierra Ferrales, was not reported as hurt.

An autopsy has been ordered for Medellin.

The accident remains under investigation at this time.
