One killed in back-to-back crashes possibly related to speeding in SW Houston

HOUSTON, TX – A person was killed in southwest Houston this weekend after a driver was involved in back-to-back collisions possibly related to speed, according to the Laredo Morning Times.

The initial accident occurred in the 5700 block of Weslayan St, in the West University Place neighborhood at about 12:20 p.m.

A driver involved in that accident then crashed the vehicle a short distance away, in the 5800 block of Weslayan St. One person was killed as a result of the second crash.

Police have not released any identifications from the accidents.

The accident remains under investigation at this time.
