HARRIS COUNTY, TX – A pedestrian was critically injured after being struck by a driver on Highway 6 on Tuesday night, according to Cpt. John Shannon of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

The accident occurred at 9150 State Highway 6 before 8:45 p.m., when a pedestrian crossing the street was struck by the driver of a silver Kia.
The victim was then airlifted to the hospital with critical, life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Kia, which sustained front-end and windshield damage, was not reported as hurt.
The crash remains under investigation.
