HOUSTON, TX – One person was killed after being struck by a vehicle in northwest Houston early this morning, according to a report by KPRC2.
The accident occurred in the Fairbanks neighborhood near the 14100 block of Northwest Fwy just after 5 a.m., though police have stated that the crash did not occur on the freeway itself.
The pedestrian victim, who has yet to be publicly identified, was hit and killed near Fairbanks N Houston Rd.
The driver, who also has not been identified, reportedly stayed at the scene after the crash.
Authorities have not yet released the cause of the accident, and it remains under investigation at this time.
