Pedestrian fatally struck by 2 drivers in NE Houston hit-and-run

HOUSTON, TX – A pedestrian is dead after being run over by two vehicles in northeast Houston last week, according to KTRK.

The accident happened before 6:45 a.m. Wednesday in the 7900 block of Attwater Street, as a driver is thought to have been traveling at a high speed. The driver collided with a pedestrian, then fled the scene.

The victim was struck by a second driver, who pulled over, rendered aid, and called the police.

The pedestrian, who was not immediately identified, died as a result of the crash.

The first vehicle will likely have sustained heavy damage during the crash.

Authorities are searching for the hit-and-run driver and continue to investigate the accident.
