HOUSTON, TX – A pedestrian was fatally struck by a driver on the East Freeway early yesterday morning, according to information from KTRK News.
The crash occurred on the East Freeway (I-10) westbound near Normandy Street at about 5 a.m., when a pedestrian was struck by at least one driver.
The victim, who was not immediately identified, was pronounced dead after the collision.
Westbound lanes of traffic were closed after the collision, leading to heavy traffic delays for miles.
