Pedestrian fatally struck by hit-and-run driver and another motorist in E Houston

HOUSTON, TX – A man was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver near the Brock Park Golf Course in east Houston this weekend, according to the Laredo Morning Times.

The accident occurred in the 12000 block of Tidwell Rd, near John Ralston Rd, at about 8 p.m. Sunday night when a man, who has yet to be publicly identified, was hit by a driver who fled the scene of the crash.

Another driver later struck the victim’s body despite an attempt to brake after another driver flickered their lights at her.

The second driver remained at the scene and has cooperated with the investigation.

Authorities are searching for possible witnesses to the crash and are reviewing security camera footage for any clues to the identity of the first driver.

No other injuries were reported in the crash.
