Semi crashes into convenience store following 2-truck accident in Harris Co.

SHELDON, TX (HARRIS COUNTY) – Two semi-trucks collided with each other in Harris County last night, and one of the trucks then smashed through the wall of a convenience store.

According to KPRC2 and the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the accident occurred near the intersection of Beaumont Highway and Miller Road Number 3 at about 7 p.m. when a white semi-truck collided head-on with a red semi.

The red semi-truck then crashed into the gaming area of a nearby convenience store. Luckily, nobody inside the store was injured.

The two truck drivers were taken to the hospital with non-critical injuries. Their identities have not yet been released.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation at this time.
