Suspected DUI driver facing charges after crash on Aldine Westfield

SPRING, TX – A man was taken into police custody after a suspected drunk-driving crash in Spring on Sunday, according to the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office.

The accident occurred in the 24600 block of Aldine Westfield Road.

Driver Boanerges Castaneda-Cruz, 42, was determined to be at fault in the crash, and according to constables, was showing multiple signs of being under the influence.

Authorities performed field sobriety tests, then took him into custody on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

Castaneda-Cruz was booked into the Harris County Jail on a $100 bond.

It is unclear at this time if anyone was injured in the accident.
