HOUSTON, TX – A teenage girl having an argument with her mother was fatally struck by a hit-and-run driver of the North Freeway on Monday night, according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.
@HCSOTexas units responded to a scene at 16827 North Freeway. Preliminary info: a teen female (possibly 15) was having a disturbance w her mother when she jumped out of a moving car. The accident happened at 16827 North Freeway before 9:30 p.m., when a teenager jumped out of a moving vehicle during an argument with her mother. She was then struck by the driver of an unknown vehicle who then fled the scene.
The girl, estimated to be 15 years old, was pronounced dead at the scene.
