HOUSTON, TX – A 32-year-old woman is facing drunk driving charges after allegedly causing an accident on the Sam Houston Parkway on Monday, according to the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office.

The crash occurred in northwest Houston, in the 5500 block of N Sam Houston Parkway, and was described as a minor accident.

32-year-old Lindsey Bowers was determined to be the driver at fault. An investigation found that she appeared to be intoxicated, and authorities administered her field sobriety tests.

She was taken to the Harris County Jail on charges of driving while intoxicated. Her bond has been set at $100.

It is unclear if anyone was injured in the crash.
