CLEVELAND, TX (LIBERTY COUNTY) – A woman was killed in a single-vehicle rollover accident after she collided with a tree in Liberty County earlier this week, according to the Montgomery County Police Reporter.

The accident occurred in Cleveland, in the 1600 block of E Houston Street and near Cleveland High School, at around 2:15 a.m. on Tuesday, when the driver of a white Chevrolet pickup truck veered to the side of the roadway.

The truck collided with the concrete ramp near the high school parking lot, and the vehicle was then possibly thrown into the air. The vehicle overturned down the ditch before colliding with a pine tree, then coming to rest upright against a second tree.

The victim, who has yet to be publicly identified, was pinned against the tree in the collision. She died at the scene.
