HOUSTON, TX – A construction worker was killed after being struck by heavy machinery at a worksite in southwest Houston last week, according to KTRK.
The accident happened in the 14800 block of Almeda Road, near Sam Houston Tollway E, at about 5 p.m. Wednesday, when a woman was struck by another worker operating heavy machinery.
The victim, whose identity was not immediately released, died at the scene.
The other worker was not reported as injured.
Authorities continue to investigate the accident at this time.
