Narrative

HUDSPETH CO., TX – A single-vehicle rollover crash along I-10 in southeastern Hudspeth County killed a child on Wednesday.

The accident occurred around 4 a.m. on the eastbound side of the interstate, about eight miles west of Van Horn and just east of Allamoore.

Police say that a 2008 Chrysler Sebring carrying four people left the roadway and overturned, killing an 8-year-old girl.

The cause of the crash is unknown, and it’s not yet clear if anyone else in the vehicle sustained injuries.
