LAREDO, TX – A police chase in Laredo resulted in a high-speed crash that killed three people on Saturday night, Fox News South Texas reports.
A police officer attempted to stop a black Nissan SUV as it traveled north on US 83. Instead of stopping, the SUV sped away and ran through a red light at Lomas Del Sur.
In the intersection, the Nissan crashed into a red Dodge SUV. The driver of the Dodge, a 62-year-old woman, was killed at the scene.
Two passengers in the Nissan were also killed. The driver, a 23-year-old man, was arrested after attempting to flee on foot.
