Narrative
LUBBOCK, TX – A 63-year-old man died earlier this week in Lubbock after an SUV struck him as he walked his bicycle north at a busy intersection near LCU.
The incident happened at 10:05 p.m. on Tuesday in the area of 19th Street and Dover Avenue, which is at the northeast corner of Lubbock Christian University.
Police say that a westbound SUV struck the cyclist. It’s still unclear which person is at fault in wreck.
Medics transported the cyclist to University Medical Center where he died either late Tuesday night or early Wednesday. Authorities identified the victim as Harvest Youngblood.
