Officials searching for Lubbock hit-and-run driver who killed 74-year-old man

LUBBOCK, TX – Police are searching for a suspect in connection with a hit-and-run accident that left one man dead on Tuesday.

According to KCBD, the victim has been identified as 74-year-old Manuel R. Sandoval. Sandoval was driving his Chevy Silverado pickup truck north on Hwy 349 when another driver traveling east on FM 2051 collided with him.

Sandoval died at the scene. The other driver fled.

Anyone with information is encouraged to come forward.
