Woman dies from injuries sustained in Lubbock crash

LUBBOCK, TX – A 70-year-old woman passed away seven days after being injured in a Lubbock collision, KCDB reports. 

The accident occurred along Avenue Q at 3:30 p.m. on October 8th. The victim was a passenger in an SUV driven by a 32-year-old man that was attempting to make a left turn from the southbound lane when it was struck by a northbound vehicle driven by a 60-year old man.

Both people in the southbound vehicle were transported to University Medical Center, where the 70-year-old woman recently passed away.

The other driver was uninjured.
