19-year-old killed in late-night 18-wheeler crash in Ector County

ECTOR COUNTY, TX – A 19-year-old was killed in a collision involving an 18-wheeler truck in Ector County late Sunday night, according to YourBasin News.

The crash occurred on State Highway 302 at about 10 p.m. Sunday, as the driver of a 2005 Peterbilt 18-wheeler truck slowed down to make a turn.

The driver of a 2017 Dodge Charger, 19-year-old Midland resident Nicholas Terrazas, reportedly failed to control the speed of his vehicle, then crashed into the back of the truck.

Terrazas was pronounced dead after the crash.

The truck driver was not reported as injured.
