MIDLAND, TX — According to NewsWest9, an Odessa man died Friday morning after a two-vehicle crash on the Interstate 20 service road in southwest Midland.
The fatal accident took place in the 600 block of the eastbound service road shortly before 7:45 a.m.
No details have been provided regarding the cause of the wreck, but investigators said the man was driving an SUV when it collided head-on with a truck.
The driver of the SUV was rushed to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
Officials have not said whether or not the other driver was seriously injured.
Midland Police continue to investigate.
