MIDLAND COUNTY, TX — A 26-year-old man died early Friday after a rollover collision off the Interstate 20 service road in northeast Midland, according to YourBasin.

The fatal accident took place near mile marker 146, about two miles west of the intersection with North County Road 1090. Authorities responded to the scene on September 16 shortly after 5:54 a.m.

An early investigation indicates the man was behind the wheel of a Ford F-150 pickup truck traveling eastbound on the service road when, for reasons still unknown, the vehicle entered another lane and went off the roadway before rolling.

The male driver, a Midland resident, was pronounced deceased at the scene, confirmed the Texas Department of Public Safety. Officials said he was found to have not been wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
