Narrative
ODESSA, TX – A woman died last Saturday from injuries sustained when a vehicle rear-ended her sedan along the highway in Odessa.
The accident occurred just after 1 p.m. on US-385 at East Calcutta Street, which is northeast of Pleasant Farms and south of J&R Feedstore.
The investigation indicates that a northbound Chevy Silverado rear-ended a northbound Kia Soul. The driver of the Kia, identified as 4o-year-old Dulce Salinas, died at the scene of the accident.
Medics transported the 18-year-old driver of the Chevy to the hospital with unspecified injuries. Police say he was in stable condition.
