CROCKETT COUNTY, TX – A woman from San Antonio was killed on New Year’s Day after being involved in a rollover crash in Crockett County, Fox San Antonio reports.
The crash occurred east of Ozona on I-10 around 8:30 a.m. The 22-year-old woman was a passenger in a Chevrolet Cruze when the driver, a 20-year-old man, lost control and swerved toward the median. The driver then veered to the right, causing the vehicle to skid and roll over multiple times.
The woman was killed at the scene. Police have confirmed that she was not wearing a seat belt. The driver was taken to Shannon Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
