Narrative
SAN ANTONIO, TX – One person went to the hospital Friday, and another was arrested after a multi-vehicle crash along the interstate in San Antonio.
The incident happened around 10:23 p.m. on the northbound side of I-35 near West Southcross Boulevard, which is just east of Leal Middle School.
Police say a driver abandoned his Toyota Matrix on the interstate after a solo crash. A tour bus then struck the Toyota before also hitting a Chevy Silverado and a Toyota Corolla.
Medics transported a passenger from the Silverado to the hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the Matrix was charged with intoxication assault and failure to stop and render aid.
