SAN ANTONIO, TX – A 34-year-old man is in critical condition after a motorcycle accident in west San Antonio on Saturday night, News 4 San Antonio reports.
The crash occurred around 11:40 p.m. on Mercedes Street near Frio City Road. The victim was travelling west on Mercedes when he lost control of his 2004 Kawasaki motorcycle and crashed to the ground.
He then slid across the pavement for approximately 40 feet before coming to a stop. At the time of the crash he was not wearing a helmet and was unconscious when EMS arrived.
The victim was rushed to University Hospital where he is currently in critical but stable condition.
