Driver arrested for DWI after crash in south San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated after crashing her pickup truck into a police vehicle early Wednesday morning, KSAT reports. 

The accident occurred in the intersection of Southeast Military and Roosevelt Avenue around 2:30 a.m. The woman was driving west on Southeast Military when she struck an officer travelling south on Roosevelt Avenue.

The woman was suspected of intoxication and taken into police custody. The police officer suffered minor injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital.
