Man crossing street in downtown San Antonio struck and killed by hit-and-run driver

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A man walking across the street in downtown San Antonio was killed by a hit-and-run driver last night, according to KSAT.

The collision happened at about 9:30 p.m. near College Street and E Houston Street in the 500 block of Navarro Street, as a man in his 30s to 40s was walking across the street.

The driver of a Dodge Charger then struck the victim before fleeing the scene.

The victim was taken to Brooke Army Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.

No information was immediately released on the suspect, who will likely be facing serious charges if they are located.
