LIVE OAK, TX – A woman has died after a two-vehicle collision caused by a drunk driver Tuesday night.
According to NEWS4SA, the fatal crash occurred at the intersection of Pat Booker Road and Live Oak Crossing around 11:30 PM on March 8th.
32-year-old James Ballestero reportedly sped through a red light and crashed into the side of another vehicle.
The driver of the struck vehicle, 21-year-old Cameron Celeste Jacobson, sadly died at the scene.
Live Oak police report that Ballestero showed signs of impairment at the scene of the crash. He has been charged with intoxication manslaughter and is currently being held at Bexar County Jail.
