SAN ANTONIO, TX – A woman was killed on Wednesday night after being hit by a car while crossing the street in west San Antonio, KSAT reports.
The accident occurred around 7 p.m. on Wednesday night on Enrique M Barrera Parkway near SW 34th Street. The victim was attempting to cross Enrique M Barrera Parkway when she was struck by a vehicle.
When EMS arrived they found the woman in critical condition and attempted to provide life-saving aid. Several minutes later she was pronounced dead.
The driver remained on the scene and is not expected to face charges.
