Pedestrian killed in hit-and-run on Bandera Road in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver on Bandera Road on the west side of San Antonio, KSAT reports. 

The accident occurred on Bandera Road near Sherril Brook Road around 9:40 p.m. The victim was initially struck by a northbound truck with an extended cab and thrown into the southbound lanes. The person was then struck by a 2014 Kia Soul.

The male victim, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are currently searching for the truck driver, who fled the scene. The Kia driver remained at the scene and attempted to aid the victim.
