Pedestrian struck, injured in crash in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO, TX – According to KSAT, a pedestrian was struck and seriously injured by a vehicle in the west side of San Antonio on Tuesday.

Authorities say the crash took place just after 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday night at the intersection of Culebra Road and North Zarzamora Street. An unidentified pedestrian had stepped out into the street on Culebra when they were struck by a Jeep travelling westbound.

The pedestrian sustained serious injuries in the impact and was transported to University Hospital for treatment. The driver of the Jeep stayed at the scene and offered the pedestrian aid until first responders arrived.

No other details are available at this time. Police continue to investigate this incdient.
