Narrative
Five juveniles were sent to a hospital late Tuesday night after a stolen vehicle crashed off Interstate 35 and into a creek near downtown San Antonio. The wreck occurred off the southbound lanes near South Laredo Street, shortly after 11:30 p.m. According to the San Antonio Police Department, officers spotted a car that had been reported stolen out of Bexar County and began following it. At one point, the driver of the stolen car sped up, lost control, and veered off the I-35 access ramp before overturning into a creek. Five underage occupants in the rolled vehicle suffered undisclosed injuries and were taken to a hospital. An investigation into the incident remains underway.
