Narrative
BEXAR COUNTY, TX — A man was critically injured late last Friday, March 11, due to a motorcycle accident in San Antonio’s Northwest side.
San Antonio Police said the crash occurred in the 11700 block of Bandera Road, near North Loop 1604 West, at about 10:30 p.m.
A preliminary investigation found that the man was operating a motorcycle westbound on Bandera Road. For reasons still unknown, the bike struck a median as he tried to cross the intersection. The man then lost control of the motorcycle, which crashed on the roadway.
The rider, who suffered life-threatening injuries, was rushed to an area hospital in critical condition.
No other vehicles appear to have been involved, and no other injuries have been reported.
