Narrative

BEXAR COUNTY, TX — A man was hospitalized late Sunday night after his motorcycle collided with a sedan in San Antonio’s North Side.

San Antonio Police said the accident occurred on Blanco Road, near North Loop 1604 West, at about 10:40 p.m. Officers, along with EMS and members of the San Antonio Fire Department, responded to the scene shortly after.

It was unclear what caused the wreck, but preliminary details indicate the motorcycle hit the sedan, causing the rider to eject. First responders rushed him by ambulance to University Hospital with a number of broken bones.

No information on either driver has been disclosed, but no other injuries were reported, and no charges are expected to be filed at this time.

Authorities continued to investigate the crash.
